Every function of our bodies is directly or indirectly governed by our brain. That is the way it should be with the body of Christ. One major problem with unbiblical believers and churches is that they do not recognize and live by this simple truth. They go off their own way. They maintain the preeminence in their lives. Ephesians 2:10: For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Philippians 2:13: For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.Romans 12:1: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. 2 Corinthians 10:5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;Proverbs 23:7a: For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: |
